My Skills
Hard Skills
In my core classes, we cover a large variety of different programming languages, libraries, and tools. In addition, I've learned a few more in my electives and outside of the classroom. Indiana University's large and growing Informatics program gave me the opportunity to explore many different facets of Informatics. In one of my early classes, I took a Human-Computer Interaction Course that I really enjoyed. This led me to realising that I enjoyed designing, testing, and improving the front-end of websites and apps. I followed that passion, and went on to take many more exciting courses in Web Design, JavaScript, Visual Design, Multimedia and the Arts, and more.
Some of my programming strengths are:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- PHP
- MySQL
- Python
Some of the libraries and tools that I've used along with them are:
- GitHub
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe XD
- Figma
- Bootstrap
- Flexbox

- MatPlotLib
Programming Fundamentals:
- Iterative Processes of Development and Testing
- Object-Oriented Programming
- Responsive Web Design
- Functional Programming (Clean Code)
- Well-Documented Code (Comments)

Collaboration
My education at Indiana University has prepared me for the workforce by giving me many opportunities to work in teams. Almost all of my projects and assignments were created in collaboration with randomly select teams of three to five people. I learned and employed many skills during this time of collaboration.
- Conflict Resolution
- Time Management
- Taking the Lead
- Rising to Challenges
- Efficient Distribution of Work
- Roadmapping
- Anticipating Roadblocks
